Man Utd could make Hannibal their deadline day signing

Manchester United have launched a bid to bring Monaco youngster Hannibal Mejbri to Old Trafford, according to reports.

The Frenchman, 16, reportedly rejected Arsenal in favour of a move to Monaco in 2017 despite having a previous trial spell with the Gunners in 2016.

Mejbri is a France under-16 international but has yet to feature for Monaco’s first team, who are struggling in Ligue 1.

French news outlet RMC claim that despite Ole Gunnar Solskjaer not expecting any incomings on transfer deadline day, United scouts have been so impressed with Mejbri that they could make an offer before the end of the window.

The Daily Express builds on this by saying Mejbri ‘could be headed to Old Trafford’ in a late deadline day deal.

Meanwhile, Marouane Fellaini is set to leave the Red Devils for Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng after the Premier League club reached an agreement for his sale.
