Kyle Walker Deletes Tweet Trolling Liverpool Draw

Manchester City defender Kyle Walker has taken a dig at Premier League title rivals Liverpool with a tweet mocking the Reds’ draw against Leicester. Walker has deleted a tweet he posted in which he captioned a picture of Harry Maguire talking to his girlfriend.

Walker, who played in Man City’s shock 2-1 defeat to Newcastle on Tuesday, attempted some light-hearted humourous trolling after Liverpool drew 1-1 with Leicester last night at Anfield.

The Reds extended their lead over City to five points but missed the chance to leap seven points clear last night and Walker posted a comment on an image of Leicester scorer Maguire on a picture from last summer’s World Cup.

“So basically they thought they were gonna go 7 points ahead…,” tweeted Walker, who is an England team-mate of Maguire.

Walker though deleted the tweet within an hour, probably as not to cause any controversy between City and their title rivals.
