Embakasi East MP Babu Owino has jumped in to defend Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho after he was accused of being behind Aisha Jumwa’s woes.
Following the expulsion of the MP from the ODM party there has been a pull and push between Malindi residents.
A section of Malindi residents took to the streets a couple days ago to demonstrate saying that Aisha Jumwa’s deserved to leave.
In a video that was shared online, the demonstrates claimed that the only leader they recognize is the Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho.
They also insisted that it is only Joho that they would listen to and would remain dumb to the words of their MP.
However Jumwa responded to this claiming that Joho had a hand in it and was the reason for her woes.
Jumwa sent a warning to the Mombasa Governor saying that he will be held responsible if the residents end up being divided by hatred.
Earlier today, Babu Owino shared video saying that some of the ODM leaders like Aisha Jumwa should stop spreading false information implicating the Mombasa Governor.
Babu Owino sent a warning to all the MPs who are taking part in the spreading of rumours about the Mombasa Governor and the ODM Deputy party leader.
