President Uhuru Kenyatta has today joined leaders and top celebrities in mourning the death of the legendary musician James Ingram.
In a twitter post, the head of state said that he was saddened by the news of the death of the musician.
Kenyatta described James Ingram as a true gift from God to the world, especially to those who love & enjoy Rn’B music including himself.
Uhuru also mentioned that he had an amazing voice & his music will remain a lasting reminder of the great musician he was.

The Legendary US R&B artist James Ingram died at the age of 66. TMZ reported that he had brain cancer.
Ingram won two Grammy awards during his career: his performance on the Quincy Jones song One Hundred Ways earned him best male R&B vocal performance in 1982, and Yah Mo B There, a collaboration with the Doobie Brothers’ Michael McDonald, won best R&B performance by a group or duo with vocals in 1985.
