The Brazil superstar will miss both legs of PSG’s round of 16 tie with Manchester United in the Champions League.
French champions Paris Saint-Germain made the news official through a press release on their website.
“After consultation with world-renowned medical experts, the decision has been made for Neymar to receive ‘conservative treatment’ for his latest metatarsal injury. The player has agreed & is now expected to be fit again in 10 weeks.”
This will be a huge blow for the capital club, who would now need to reach the semifinals Europe’s elite club competition if Neymar is to take any further part this season.
