VIDEOS & Pictures: Fear and Anxiety Hits Latema Road as Another Terror Like Substance Emerges

Is someone out to cause fear and anguish among Nairobians?

Just a day after an explosion was reported at Odeon near Latema Road, City residents operating from the area were today left to wallow in fear and anguish as another unattended box surfaced just near the scene of last Saturday’s explosion.

Business in the area came to a standstill as curious onlookers trooped to the scene where this other box was spotted hence raising the question of whether Kenyans value their lives or not.

Police officers are already at the scene.

Police are yet to identify and arrest the owner of luggage that exploded and injured two people along Tom Mboya Street in Nairobi on Saturday.

The team investigating the incident said it is relying on CCTV footage captured at the scene.

The two injured victims who include a newspaper vendor and a trolley puller were treated and discharged.

Police have concluded the explosion was caused by an improvised explosive device that went off as it was being ferried to an unknown destination.

The trolley puller told the police he had been hired by a woman wearing hijab and told to deliver the luggage in a box to Kenya Cinema from Baba Dogo bus stop.

On the way, the baggage went off as the owner vanished.
