Student Leaders eat from Ezekiel Mutua’s pot of wisdom

Earlier today KFCB Boss Ezekiel Mutua joined students leaders from across the country during the Raise Your Game Sunday Service at Alliance Girls.

Some of the influential Kenyans who were present during this event include Safaricom Chief Customer Officer, Sylvia Mulinge. motivational speaker Welly Odendo among others.

114 schools from across the country were represented by their student leaders and prefects during this function.

 

The main aim of the event was  to see young & successful men and women in Government, politics & corporate sectors coming to inspire the student leaders to know that they too can make it in life.

Mutua in his speech said that if we  have morally upright leaders at the school level, then we can be assured of morally upright leaders at the national level.

He also addressed the students saying that they are the leaders of today and the hope for a better future.

On the challenges that are facing the nation currently, Mutua stated that there is shortage and lack of leadership in our country from families to corporates and government.

He also encouraged the students to step up and take full responsibility in ensuring that they do what is best.

Mutua believes that  student leaders going through Raise Your Game Program and hold on to what they learn will become better leaders of the tomorrow.

He also encouraged them all to  stay away from bad content that destroys morals and focus on  building their faith.

The KFCB boss also assured that the Board is building networks to impact the youth leadership from school level.

“We believe proper grounding for our youth will be key to a stable and prosperous Kenya.” he stated

Sharing his experience during his school days, Mutua says that he learnt on the importance of values .

“The values of hard work, perseverance, honesty, fear of God and respect for authority were imparted in me during my school days.” he mentioned

Mutua by sharing from his experiences was intentional to encourage student leaders to know that the challenges of today should be the building blocks for the future.
