Where Governor Sonko spent his life as a prisoner before his political sprout

Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has with no doubt one of the most interesting past. He possess in many occasions as a reformed gangster.

But on Wednesday on Jeff Koinange live he spit the maize forget the beans.

Apart from his bhang smoking habit with Kiambu Governor Ferdinand Waititu, he also revealed that he have spent quite sometime serving as an inmate in various prisons. But why was he arrested? Is it because of underground drug deals ? What was the cause?

While appearing on Citizen TV, Sonko said that he was born a leader.

The first-term governor said that he was a leader in several prisons where he served jail terms for being linked to different crimes. He noted that he was a leader at Shimo La Tewa, Kamiti and Industrial Area remand prisons.

“I went to Shimo la Tewa prison and I was the leader for the ordinary block…I used to supervise how porridge was being distributed. I went to Industrial Area prison and I was the leader of C block…I was also a leader at Kamiti…” he said.

But right now he is reformed. His interview revealed what was left behind the curtains, who even know that Mike Sonko can shoot? But he is not just a shooter but a sharp shooter, if you have watched this American Series Called “The Shooter” now that is Sonko.

But he vowed to continue sending home incompetent leaders in county leadership. The self proclaimed Nursery prefect, said it is better he serves one term than serve two and leave Nairobi in deep debts.
