What is a Headline Without Ruto? Murkomen Schools Top Newspaper on Catchy Headlines

Deputy President William Ruto is a man that makes headlines basically everyday and media houses are always so quick to pick a Ruto no matter how insignificant it might look.

Ruto has made headlines for both the good and the bad reasons.

Good in the sense that through his Tanga Tanga movement, he is always up and down around the Country initiating and inspecting development projects. Well, it now remains to be seen if he will still continue with this inspection of Projects after the elevation of Interior CS Fred Matiang’i to the heart of the cabinet.

Ruto has also been in the headlines for many bad reasons. First was because of the ICC cases that he triumphed over, then came the maize scandal, the Weston Hotel scandal and now the Matiang’i appointment has made him the undisputed talk of town again.

When the Matiang’i appointment was revealed, top Media houses were quick to suggest that Ruto’s powers had now been trimmed and that he was indeed not in good terms with President Kenyatta.

Sensational headlines, each mentioning Ruto made it to the front page of various newspapers with many Ruto supporters keen to point out that Media houses were out to drive an Anti-Ruto agenda.

Ruto’s loyalist Kipchumba Murkomen has now come out to fault Kenya’s Daily Nation on their headline choice for today’s newspaper.

Todays headline read, ” UHURU READS RIOT ACT TO RUTO MEN”

Murkomen was quick to suggest tomorrow’s headline to Daily Nation and it read, “WHY RUTO WAS LEFT OUT OF CONGO TRIP”

“After accidentally reading the headline today, I would gladly suggest to them tomorrow’s headline. It should read “Why Ruto was left out of Congo trip” said Murkomen.

Well, it seems like Ruto is still going to make headlines for the better part of this year given that the race for the 2022 General elections is already taking shape.

Do you think that the Kenyan Media is too much on Ruto’s neck?
