Chelsea Will Beat Man Utd And Arsenal To Top Four For ONE Reason

That is the verdict of  pundit and former Liverpool defender Steve Nicol.

Chelsea are currently fourth in the table, four points clear of Arsenal and Manchester United in fifth and sixth respectively.

But United have enjoyed a resurgence in form, winning their last six league matches under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

And Arsenal defeated Chelsea 2-0 at the Emirates last Saturday to close the gap on Maurizio Sarri’s side.

But despite that win, Nicol does not think the Gunners’ defence can be relied upon.

And he is also keen to see how United react when their winning run under Solskjaer eventually comes to an end.

“Yeah I think they [Chelsea] will [finish in the top four],” Nicol said.

“I don’t particularly trust Arsenal or Manchester United.

“Yes Manchester United are a runaway train right now.

“But I can’t wait to see how they handle some adversity, what will Solskjaer do?

“It’s dead easy when you’re just winning. It’s the easiest job in the world when you’re team’s just winning and winning.

“You don’t have to do too much, you just keep them happy and keep them fit.

“But when some adversity happens I’d love to see how the players react.

“And as I’ve said before I don’t trust Arsenal’s back four.

“They were great last weekend, yes, but I don’t trust them.”
