Sonko to take action over conmen stealing from Kenyans

Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko has sent a warning to conmen who are stealing from Kenyans using his Rescue Team name.

Sonko has called upon Kenyans to report any cases of attempt theft by the criminals behind the act.

He also cautioned Kenyans to be cautious to avoid falling for that trap. This is not the first time that the Governor has addressed the matter.

It has come to my attention that a highly digital group of conmen operating under Sonko Rescue Team Kenya has been conning unsuspecting Kenyans of their hard earned money. They are operating a Website, Facebook Page which is sponsored to reach more followers. They also lift photos from the Governor’s Facebook and use them in their con game.

According to information gathered so far, Terrorist/ CONMEN using +254798888963 are lying that Sonko Rescue team is recruiting 450 county representatives from all the 47 counties and u will be paid 72,400 be aware those are CONMEN and ignore them and don’t go to the venue located attached.

Some are also requesting for a non-refundable registration fee of Sh. 300, they pretend to offer loans, motorbikes and school fees vouchers.

They further claim that through Equity Bank and Safaricom, registered members can borrow between Sh1,000 and a maximum Sh50,000. Their M-PESA number is 0715721394.

I wish to take this opportunity to warn Kenyans to watch out and never to send any money to these conmen. In any case you are approached, please report to the police or CID or to my office for quick action.
