Kenyans are now left to pick the pieces up after the cruel Dusit D2 buiding siege by Al-shabaab that definately left wreckage of the mind as well as destruction of massive property.

The nation has vowed not to bow down to the terror incident and now the challenge more heavily on the side of the Dusit victims is how to move on from the experience that has tatooed itself in their lives.

As developments of investigations into the crime continue to pour in, the police have finally given clearance to tenants and and guests who were at the premises on the fateful January 15, 2019, when five gunmen blasted their way in, killing 21 people as revealed by police spokesman Charles Owino.

Motorists whose vehicles were trapped at the 14 Riverside Drive complex, which was hit by a terror attack last week, have also been allowed to pick them from Tuesday morning.

The tenants can access their premises at the complex from Tuesday, officials said. It will be an emotional event as those who escaped from the complex will get memories of the incident that unfolded from 3pm.

It will also be a week since the incident happened and the dusitD2 was closed to the tenants. Most food that was at the hotel has gone bad after power supply was switched off to allow operations that followed the attack.
