Nigerian Star Patoranking has saluted Ugandan artist/politician Bobi Wine in his music game.
The Duo were representing Africa in Jamaica during the Rebel Salute Festival 2019.
Their performance was alongside other artists from different parts of Africa.
Apparently Jamaicans were thrilled by Bobi Wine’s powerful performance, the entire audience was.
A multi talented soul and freedom fighter Bobi Wine who has been facing backlash in his home county went all out in the International space.
Several concerts had to be cancelled back home but the Ugandans are proud that the world appreciates his music and his contribution in the society.
Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness says that he always looks forward to Rebel Salute.
He mentioned that It is a brilliant showcase of Jamaica’s authentic Reggae music, taking the nation down memory lane to the iconic tunes he listened to growing up and previewing the new and emerging talents of the future.
“The distinguishing feature of the show is that it’s not just entertainment, the artistes make a conscious effort to be uplifting and edifying.” he added
The artists who were headlining during this event gave a show of a kind and as their Prime Minister says, it went beyond entertainment.
