National Super Alliance (NASA) co-principal Musalia Mudavadi has condemned the 14 Riverside attack saying nothing can justify killing innocent Kenyans.
In his tweet , Mudavadi revealed that his son was among the victims and he had been rescued from the scene.
“What have we done to deserve this? The blood and lives of the innocent will haunt the perpetrators of this heinous act forever,” he posed.
“I call upon all of us Kenyans to rally behind the relevant State agencies involved in the rescue mission. This is a time, once again, to place all our other differences aside and rally together as one indivisible Kenyan nation. May the courageous and patriotic spirit of our nationhood and togetherness help us to collectively face this moment as one Kenya, one nation, one people.,” the statement reads.

He added that Kenyans should support their security forces, commending them for their swift action.
Meanwhile the African Union Commission has also condemned the attack and urged Kenyans to support each other.
Expressing his deepest condolences to the families of the victims, Chairman Moussa Faki Mahamat further termed the attack as “cowardly.”
According to him, the attack will only serve as a catalyst to renew the fight against terrorism in Africa.
“(The attack) underlines the imperative for renewed and reinvigorated efforts to combat terrorism throughout the continent,” a statement from the chairman reads.
He also lauded the joint security team operation and reiterated the AU’s support for Kenya and its citizens.
