Kenyans might at times be divided by political opinions but one thing that always stands out is the fact that Kenyans love and care for each other especially when they have to deal with a common enemy.

Yesterday, a common enemy in the name of terrorists presented themselves to Kenyans and as usual, Kenyans put aside all their differences to condemn the heinous acts and offer words of encouragement to the affected.

People from around the world also sent messages of peace and urged everyone to rally behind Kenyans as they fight the attackers.

Shocking images of armed security forces giving cover to those they found at 14 Riverside Drive emerged on Tuesday as the Kenya Police, Kenya Army, Recce Squad and other agencies worked together through the night.

A private citizen identified as Inayat Kassam, who is a licensed gun holder as well as an experienced combatives and shooting instructor, is one of those who was spotted helping victims from the scene of the attack.

Other Kenyans also supplied food stuffs to the Kenyan officers while our security agencies could be seen selflessly leading the operations that according to President Kenyatta is now over and all the attackers gunned down.
