University student account still active despite been found dead

The family and friends of a Multimedia University student Susan Njoki are baffled as their daughter’s social media instagram account still active days after her body was found at City Mortuary.

Susan was hit by a vehicle in Ruiru while crossing the road. According to her friends who follow her on instagram claimed that they noticed her account was active yet they couldn’t trace her whereabouts.

They further stated that her account was still liking different posts and following new pages.

Susan had 18 posts, 3,744 followers and 3,615 people following her page.

Her message on the bio was self prophesying. It read: “Life is too short to be fixated on what society thinks of you. Live life as it may come.”

According to the family Njoki’s cold body was found at City Mortuary on Monday but  her Instagram is still active.

The family told various media sources that they suspect Susan’s phone may have been stolen because she had not disclosed her login information to anyone in the family.

They eventually pieced together her last movements before she was taken to City Mortuary. Apparently. on the night she dies, Susan had traveled to Ruiru to look for a house because she was planning to shift to Ongata Rongai.

Susan was last seen in Nairobi’s central business district at 11pm after reporting to work earlier on in the day. “Her workmate, whom we have spoken to, told us that the last conversation she had with Njoki, was when Njoki inquired if she had found a matatu home,” Susan’s brother told reporters.
