Celebrated 13yrs old Gymnast, Wendy Waeni has today reflected on her journey to stardom.
An inspirational, young and vibrant soul that has changed her life and the lives of others.
Wendy at a very young age is a role model to many of the young souls that look up to her.
Even through her achievements, she remains humble and continues to play a big role in the society.
Wendy has today linked her success to people who believed in her and gave her a space and life in the Entertainment industry.
Waeni also says that this exposure and platform has contributed greatly to transformation of her life and also lives of those around her.
The young (UNICEF) Ambassador says that Mseto East Africa radio presenter, Mzazi William M Tuva is among those who held her hand from a very young age.
About 4 years ago, Wendy Waeni says that she was on a normal hustle at the Nyayo Stadium when the radio presenter approached her.
Waeni says that in less than a week after they met, she was allover the media for interviews. She also thanks Mzazi for giving he a name that is well respect across the world.
Waeni says that her life changed because of him; she wonders where she would be if not for their meet up.
Giving all the gratitude, Waeni says that she will never disrespect the hand that fed her.
Currently, Waeni says that she has now employed 24 people who feed their families and she attributes this to the fact that someone believed in her dreams.
