VIDEO: Singer Vivian cries during a live interview for the future of Kenyan music

Kenyan Female artist Vivian broke down during a live interview as she expressed her concern over the issue of playing Kenyan Music.

Vivian said that if more Kenyan  music was getting played, then she believes that some artists would have been exposed to the industry much earlier.

Giving Masauti as an example, Vivian said that she knew him from way back and noticed his talent.

However Masauti  gets to be the talk in the industry now yet an early exposure would have taken him to more greater heights.

Vivian says that comparing Nigerian Music to Kenyan Music, they would not say that Kenya has no content neither would they say that Kenyan music is better.

The bottom line however is that Kenyans need to support their own.

On the role that Mseto East Africa has played  in recognizing talent, Vivian broke down reflecting on the far that she has come.

Vivian after the interview says that she  never cries in interviews but this one was very emotional for her.

She also added that people should support Kenyan music.

Vivian stated that her life changed when her music was given a chance and people should give others a chance  to other artists.
