Graphic Images: One Dead in Brutal Narok Clashes

Tension was high in Likia area, Njoro, on Thursday after one person was allegedly killed in what appeared to be renewed clashes between two warring communities. The man was trailing his livestock that had been stolen by suspected rustlers from a neighboring community.

Njoro OCPD Charity Dorcas said angry residents have blocked the Likia -Mau Narok road and lit bonfires protesting the killing.

Likia residents condemned the killing.

Nakuru county commissioner Joshua Nkanatha, former Molo MP Joseph Kiuna and police went to the scene to try and calm residents.
