If their is any found political relationship that was a surprise to most Kenyans is President Uhuru Kenyatta’s peace pact with the former Prime Minister Raila Odinga. Some people will say that it came from the blues.
Nobody expected it but through the handshake everything has changed. The ‘bromance’ has now come out in a bold and conspicuous manner.
Even months after the handshake most people still do not understand the details of the peace pact between President Uhuru and Mr. Raila. People still have speculations concerning the handshake.
But inĀ the state of the nation address live from Mombasa the President again elaborated how his relationship with Mr. Raila is vital for the country.

The President said that he felt, together and Mr. Raila, that the country is tired of always going in economical and political turmoils after every five years. He said that both agreed to find solutions to problems ailing the country.
We sat with my brother @RailaOdinga and agreed we must engage to find out what is ailing our country. We agreed corruption is an issue, as well as issues of exclusion in governance amongst others. However we must begin by reaching out to Kenyans for lasting solutions~ @UKenyatta

The problems such as corruption,divisions after elections outcomes; and involve Kenyans through the building bridges initiative to come up with lasting solutions to the problems.

The President has even expressed his continued corporation with Mr. Raila Odinga among other Leaders and the entire nation to ensure that the country is immune to issues always affecting the people socially , politically and economically.

The President has however said that they have never discussed about the 2022 politics with Raila Odinga. Instead they have discussed how they can make the country better even for the grandchildren who are not yet born by spreading conscious politics.
