Serie A champions Juventus are leading the race to sign Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey at the end of the season, according to reports. Juventus’ DS Fabio Paratici has personally begun talks with the player’s entourage. Ramsey is not on good terms with Arsenal and is not likely to sign a new contract with the Gunners.
Inter and AC Milan had also been linked with the Welshman but his agent’s requests are too high for both teams. Marotta, in particular, had been in talks with the player’s representative who demands a salary higher than Mauro Icardi’s. A request that Inter can’t match.
Ramsey has admirers in Premier League and PSG are also monitoring his situation. The player’s salary request is in the region of €10 million. Talks between the two parties have begun, Juventus will decide in the coming weeks. Meantime, the Old Lady of Italian football is in pole for Ramsey. Ramsey was unhappy earlier this season that nobody from Arsenal had initially explained the reasons for withdrawing the offer of a new long-term deal, following months of talks.
