The rate at which mothers are abandoning their children is so alarming and Kenyans have lamented saying that something needs to be done to discourage such happenings.
With the main concern that awareness should be created on how women who can not afford to take care of their children can give them to those who are willing.
With many homes and safe places where children can be looked after, it is heart breaking that mothers can still afford to abandon their children even in the most unexpected places like at the garbage area where dogs could even harm them.
From the online source, the photos of the cute baby were shared together with the note.
Surprisingly the mother even wrote her name on the note indicating why she had to let go of the baby.
“I have reached a point where I have decided to abandon my daughter . I have not received any suppressed from the father or the family. I am a poor lady and I hope a good Samaritan will adopt her. Her name us purity. God bless you.” Reads note

With the high cost of living and state of economy things seem to be getting out of control and having many factors that contribute to the pressure of abandoning children.
