Raila and Uhuru Bring Bondo to a Standstill After Sharing Meal

Opposition Chief Raila Odinga and President Uhuru Kenyatta’s bromance seem to be getting more tighter if the recent happenings are anything to go by.

Previously seen as political rivals that could even kill each other if need be, the two leaders buried the hatchet which culminated to the now famous March 9th handshake.

They agreed to put aside their differences and work together for the sake of uniting Kenyans and fighting vices such as Corruption an ethnicity.

Their good relationship saw Uhuru and Ruto treated to a warm welcome in Kisumu, something that was in the past so rare to witness.

After their nearly whole day activities yesterday in the lakeside city, Uhuru an Raila are today in Bondo as the head of state wraps up his 2 day tour of the Nyanza Region.

Raila and Mama Idda Odinga first hosted Uhuru and other leaders for breakfast at his home in Bondo. Businessman Jimmy Wanjigi was also spotted at Raila’s home with the outspoken tycoon seen handing over gifts to Mama Idda.

Uhuru will join Raila  for the graduation ceremony at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology in Bondo, Siaya county where the two will be conferred honorary degrees following their handshake deal.

Also in attendance will be South African Vice President David Mabuza.
