“Mwizi ni Mwizi” Uhuru raps the same old song in Ahero

President Uhuru Kenyatta has begun his two day visit in Nyanza. The visit has so far received a lot of hype from the residents of Ahero.

The Historical visit of The President in Ahero recalls the history of where The first President of the Republic of Kenya met with The with the first Prime Minister and the Deputy President Jaramogi Oginga Odinga.

This visit is marked as one of a kind as the two leaders decided to bury the hatchet through the handshake and decided to work together. The visit has been hyped because if you can remember the 2017 General elections drew enmity and this among the healing process of the nation.

This visit signifies that the region will get an opportunity to feed from the pot in which they have been long deprived off.

The President has called on the people of Ahero to join and support the government to ensure that the Big Four Agenda is fulfilled.

But the President has not hesitated to speak about the same old song, the fight against corruption. The president that the state will not hesitate in the fight against corruption. This comes after a section of Kalenjin leaders claiming that their community is being targeted in the fight against corruption.

The President has dismissed this cheap talk urging the citizens to join in the fight.

Uhuru will open projects including commissioning of Ahero tarmac road, standard gauge railway project and a new Kisumu port.

He will also officially launch the Universal Health Care Project Kisumu being among the pilot counties chosen to lay out the program.

A number of top official leaders have joined the visit; Kalonzo Musyoka among other top MPs and Senators have lined up to grace Uhuru’s visit.

Tomorrow, Raila and Uhuru will be awarded an honorary doctorate degree at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology.
