The hidden treasure in Uhuru’s Army Regalia on Jamhuri Day

The President of the Republic of Kenya graced the 55 fifth celebration of Jamhuri Day dressed in a full Army Regalia. This was quite unexpected appearance to many Kenyans.

He is not the first President to wear the full army regalia. The same has once been done by the former Presidents during the same occasion.

The first President of the Republic of Kenya Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was the first one to dress in the Army Uniform in the National Celebrations.

The same was also extended to 24 years of Moi’s regime. He inspected the guard while dressed in full Regalia and with a sword.

Apart from the President symbolizing that he is the commander in chief of the armed forces, it also symbolizes the readiness of his administration to defend the flag of the Republic.

The wearing of the Regalia in a National Event places President Uhuru Kenyatta in historical books of the nation.

This shows his determination to deliver and lift the core values enshrined in the constitution of Kenya which was promulgated in 2010.

The spirit of unity is also symbolized by the wearing of a full regalia. The unison between the Kenya Defense Forces and the Presidency.

This is a plus to the upholding of the presidency.

Though The Former President Kibaki remains the only President since independence who have never worn the full Army Regalia in any Event.
