President Uhuru Kenyatta’s outfit made it to the trends today as Kenyans marveled at how it was all stunning and fashionable.
Beyond the tradition of donning the military gear this look has caught the eyes of many who could not help but shower Mr President with compliments on how he nailed it.
Her Wing Lady on the other hand looked all gorgeous in a fashionable free dress and a head wrap to seal the glam and beauty.
Margaret Kenyatta has always got me thinking who could be the designer behind her unique styles.
This is a big day for Kenya and the duo were well dressed up for the occasion leaving Kenyans wowed.
Kenya has on this day marked the 55th year since it became an Independent state and the President along side the First Lady were all set to Preside over the event.
A thought dropped of this as a ‘Mke Nyumbani’ chronicles. Margaret Kenyatta must have done extra and an obviously perfect job to have it all go down this way.
Speaking of Kenyatta’s outfit being part of the tradition, The first President of the Republic of Kenya Mzee Jomo Kenyatta was the first one to dress in the Army Uniform in the National Celebrations.
The same was also extended to 24 years of Moi’s regime. He inspected the guard while dressed in full Regalia and with a sword.
Apart from the President symbolizing that he is the commander in chief of the armed forces, it also symbolizes the readiness of his administration to defend the flag of the Republic.
President Kenyatta has today relived Kenya’s history and this is a record set for the books.
Other national leaders present at Nyayo Stadium for the 55th Jamhuri Day celebrations include CJ Maraga, Speakers of Senate & National Assembly, Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko as well as opposition leaders Raila Odinga Kalonzo Musyoka, Musalia Mudavadi & Moses Wetangula
