The rate at which people are dying this festive season is alarming,today as the country is celebrating 55th Jamhuri ,the Kenya film industry in mourning the sudden death of KTN series dubbed “Junior”actor.
Jamal Rashid who played the role of Baba Junior in the KTN series Junior was on Wednesday morning stabbed to death in an apparent affair that turned tragic.
His bother took to his social media page to break the sad news to his followers.
According to reports, was stabbed by a lady he was alleged to have been having an affair with.
Quarrel ensued between him and his friend GRACE KANAMU NAMULO aged 40 years who picked a kitchen knife and stabbed him.
He was rushed to Shalom Hospital where he was pronounced dead. They were referred to make a report at police station but they resorted to go with the body towards Nairobi area.
Prior to the tragic incident, the two were neighbours in Syokimau area.They were both divorced and decided to start something together.
OC DCI Mlolongo in company of scene of crime officers are out on enquiries to pursue the matter.
Jamal also featured as Judge in KBC TV series Vioja Mahakamani.
