Gor Mahia got back to winning ways with an impressive display against Zoo FC in a KPL match played at the Kasarani Stadium.
Gor Mahia’s Ivorian Striker Ephrem Guikan put them ahead with arguably his first touch of the game when he scored a first minute goal.
The Ivorian was not done as he again pounced with his second goal at the 16th minute before Samuel Onyango also got his name on the score sheet in the 39th minute.
Kogallo’s new signing, Ugandan International Erisa Ssekisambu came in the second half to add to Gor Mahia’s tally by scoring Gor’s fourth in the 72nd minute.
Gor’s win today marks new coach Hassan Oktay’s first win since taking over reigns officially at Kogallo.
Oktay named a strong side to take on Zoo FC with Gor’s talismanic striker Jack Tuyisenge missing from his match day squad.
Gor Mahia lost it’s first match of the season 2-1 against Bandari and was therefore looking for redemption against Zoo Kericho.
Pascal Ogweno made his debut for K’Ogalo in the absence of Joash Onyango in a lineup that saw Ephrem Guikan lead the onslaught in search of goals.
