Is a scam! Kenyan youths decline Uhuru’s funds deal

Is Moody Awori’s appointment to the Sports fund board still irking Kenyan youths? The youths are not happy at all since they are reading malice in every step President Uhuru Kenyatta is making to help them. On Tuesday, President Kenyatta announced said that he was going to hold talks with all banks in what is aimed at finding a way of funding Kenyan youths’ innovative ideas.

The head of  state made the remarks while launching Kenya’s new currency at the Central Bank where he admitted that Kenyan youths have been innovative, but lack a proper way of securing loans to fund their ideas. He called upon all the banks to have talks with him come next year 2019, so as to find a solution on the issue.

“Next year, we need to sit down with you and see how we open up access to credit for the Young People of Kenya. They have ideas. But no title deeds. They are innovative. But no logbooks. We have to find a way to enable them fund their ideas,” remarked the President.

The secretary for digital, Innovation and diaspora communications at statehouse Dennis Itumbi took to his twitter account to share the information with the youths.

However, the Kenyan youths didn’t receive the news in a good will, but instead read malice in it! Could it be a scam? Well, after making Moody Awori’s appointment, the President remarked that youths are thieves and not trustworthy to handle any funds.

Kenyan youths thus told Itumbi to tell the president to hold talks with banks to aid Moody Awori’s funding.

They accused the head of state of pretending to be securing opportunities for them, which are in turn offered to old retired people.

They also accused the Uhuru’s government of always telling lies, which they say should not be carried to 2019. Here are some of the reactions.
