DP Ruto lands with surprise goodies in Waiguru’s territory

The Deputy President has been involved in overseeing of most projects both by the National Government and the County Governments.

The name tangatanga is derived from his constant movements across different across the counties initiating various projects and funding churches in the same process.

This weekend The Deputy President was headed to Kirinyaga county which Anne Waiguru is their governor.

Of course the Deputy President did not go their empty handed but full of goods for the people of Kirinyaga.

Mr Ruto first commissioned the 55km road that connects Kiarima -Kianjege and Mukangu both in Kirinyaga county.

He later headed officiated the opening of Ndia Training Institute, in Gachuru , Kirinyaga county.

He was accompanied by governor Waiguru among other leaders from the region. Speaking during the training institute DP Ruto insisted on the importance of education.

“We are developing developing vocational training to meet demands of specialized labour market that values our craft over theory. The emphasis on technical training produces skilledĀ  professionals;enables on the job experience, which boast performance,readies a country for industrialization,” said the Deputy President

The Deputy is expected to launch more projects over the weekend in Kirinyaga. Also he is expected as usual to lead a fund drive to raise cash for the local churches in the region.

This comes even as a section of the region in the recent times were calling on DP Ruto to pick Anne Waiguru in the 2022 presidential race for him to win support from the region.
