Chelsea handed boost in hunt for Juventus ace after contract deal fails

Image result for Alex SandroJuventus are willing to sell left-back Alex Sandro after they failed once again to agree terms on a new contract, according to Tuttosport.

Chelsea and PSG are both interested in the Brazilian and Juventus are prepared to sell him, however, for no less than 50million Euros.

Sandro joined the Old Lady in 2015 after impressing at FC Porto and has since won three consecutive Serie A titles and as many Copa Italia’s.

The Blues have been linked with the 27-year-old multiple times but have never been able to push through a deal, although that might be about to change as they are 10/3 to sign him in the upcoming window.

Juventus have already started lining up possible replacements for Sandro as they reportedly sent a scout to watch Benfica’s Alejandro Grimaldo last night against Bayern Munich in the Champions League.

And Sandro boosted Chelsea’s chances even more last week after admitting he has a desire to play in England.

“I think, one days, who knows what will happen,” Sandro said.

“I have a desire to play in the Premier League but right now I am very happy where I am at, the club I am at, the league I am playing in.”

The Brazilian would add depth to the left-back position at Chelsea and give Marcos Alonso some healthy competition for his spot in the starting XI.
