Usiseme hukuambiwa!!Job Scammers are now targeting government offices

Several Kenyans have complained or have been victims of job  scam,Scammers are taking advantage of high rise of unemployment in the country to con unsuspecting job seekers.

The Direct of Public Prosecutions has exposed  con individuals who are duping innocent Kenyans with fake job opportunities at his office.

Through an  official statement issued from the DPP office stated that the conmen are taking advantage of pupillage and internship opportunities at the office to trick members of public into dishing out money.

The test costs Ksh3500, which one is required to pay before booking an appointment with a ‘doctor’,the doctor takes your details and alleges that he will send a general report to the ODPP.

ODPP reveal that the fraudsters call using an Orange line and direct a person to visit Agakhan hospital for a medical test.

After that the phone is switched off instantly and you never hear again from the conmen

The ODPP indicated that a medical report is not a part of the requirement for internship opportunities.

Kenyans were advised to take caution in order to avoid falling prey to the fraudsters.

The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) is the National Prosecuting Authority in Kenya which has been mandated by the Constitution to prosecute all criminal cases in the country.

The Office was delinked from the Attorney General’s Office in 2011 after the promulgation of the Constitution in 2010.

Do you think the government is to blame ?

Fraudsters have been taking advantage of the desperate job seeker , Last month, Tuskys raised alarm over a fake job posting that was making rounds online. Applicants were required to apply after paying a mandatory application fee of Sh300 through mobile money.

The retailer distanced itself from the advert and the paybill number which does not belong to it. Fraudsters are riding on the Internet wave, duping unsuspecting Kenyans in need of employment. Many Kenyans would not think twice about  parting with Sh300 for the prospect of earning a hundred times that.
