Cristiano Ronaldo celebrates the victory of the game on social media, while FIFA and UEFA celebrate his record!

Cristiano Ronaldo has become the first man to 100 Champions League wins after Juventus’s 1-0 success over Valencia on Tuesday. The Portuguese was not among the goals in his most recent outing, but he still made a telling contribution in a 1-0 victory for the Serie A champions. It was his cross that allowed Mario Mandzukic to record the only effort of the game, with a narrow success enough to carry Juve into the last 16.

After the game against Valencia, Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated the team’s victory on his Instagram.

Also, FIFA and UEFA celebrated his record of hitting 100 Champions League wins on Twitter.

The Juventus’s superstar is now one step closer to capturing the sixth continental crown of his remarkable career. He has previously won one Champions League title with Manchester United and four Champions League titles with Real Madrid.

Juventus had needed just a point to ensure qualification. Their win combined with Manchester United’s late 1-0 win over Young Boys at Old Trafford means Valencia crash out of the competition. Currently they just need to wait to see whether they top Group H after playing their final group game against Young Boys in mid-December.
