Cristiano Ronaldo’s natural successor has zero chances at Real Madrid

Image result for NeymarThe world’s most expensive player, Neymar, has constantly been linked with Real Madrid in the past year, despite his close ties with FC Barcelona.

Following the 26-year-old’s record transfer from Barcelona to Paris Saint-Germain last season, many have tipped the forward to play for Los Blancos next.

Neymar went on trial at Real as a teenager but ended up signing for the Catalan giants when he was 21 years old, but is it his destiny to still wear the famous white jersey?

According to COPE, the possibility of Neymar joining Real has dropped to zero. It has been claimed that president Florentino Perez has lost all interest in the trickster, who was once considered Cristiano Ronaldo’s natural successor at the Santiago Bernabeu.

It is believed Perez is under the impression Los Blancos supporters are not fully convinced by Neymar, who has recently flirted with the idea of returning to Barca.

This might push Real to go all out for the signature of 19-year-old wonder kid Kylian Mbappe, although they have also been linked with Chelsea winger Eden Hazard.

‘Neymar Is Certain He Will Play For Barca Next Season’

Barcelona great Xavi believes there is no chance Neymar will rejoin the LaLiga champions in the near future.

But Xavi – who won eight LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues at Barca – dismissed any suggestions Neymar could complete a move to his former club.

“I don’t see it. I don’t see it. I also think it didn’t work out well, I don’t see it in any way,” Xavi told Cadena SER on Thursday.

“I read a lot of press because I’m up to date with everything football, but I see zero chances that Neymar can return to Barcelona.”

Neymar has scored 13 goals in 16 games for PSG this season as he enjoys another prolific campaign with the Ligue 1 powerhouse.
