Popular KTN Sports news anchor Abuller Ahmed has exited the Standard Group Media house after a period of three years.
Though his social media pages, Abuller revealed that it was time to take on another challenge after working with KTN for the past three years. Ahmed thanked his fans and colleagues for working closely and supporting him during his three year tenure at Standard media.
Abuller who is an Alumni of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication, joined KTN after being ranked among the top three contestants for “The Presenter season 2”.
Away from the TV Screen, Abuller is a married man. He walked down the Aisle with his long time Fiancée Mariam Mjahid who is also a Swahili news anchor at the KUTv owned by Kenyatta University, in a lavish Swahili ceremony that was graced by his colleagues among them; Ali Manzu and Jamal Gaddafi.
Sources who did not want to be named revealed that the first-class sports anchor is set to join Switch TV.
He joined KTN after being ranked among the top three contestants for “The Presenter season 2”.
The journalist is a graduate of Kenya Institute of Mass Communication.
He is married to Mariam Mjahid who is a Swahili news anchor at the KU TV owned by Kenyatta University.
His resignation comes days after radio queen Patricia Kihoro landed a segment on KTN News.
The contemporary African music lover who runs the Sunday night Homeboyz Radio show dubbed Afro-Central will be appearing on KTN News as part of the Friday Briefing team.
Apparently, the presenter had been in the dark about the offer until Friday when she was invited to the station, thinking she’ll be in for a quick interview.
