According to an anonymous source, “What I can assure you is that a number of ministers will be kicked out along with CAS and top civil servants. The president is concerned that some of these guys have been mentioned in graft related cases or incompetence. It’s just a matter of weeks if not days.”

“As government, we shall not relax until we deliver, those who are not ready for the journey, prepare to be axed. We have many Kenyans who can do the job.”

During the Mashujaa celebration in Kakamega Uhuru was to name new people to his government but held back his plan for  reasons that are not yet established.

Those who will apparently be affected are said to be victims of incompetence and corruption, a move Uhuru believes will redeem the image of his government.

Over the weekend at Kisii, Deputy President William Ruto hinted the expected massive sacking when he said government will not continue working  because of incompetence.

He insisted that lazy and corrupt individuals do not have a room in his own government, a move that further hints possible sacking.

In July, Uhuru met Raila Odinga at the Coast and news about possible cabinet reshuffle were leaked to the media. However, State House spokesperson Kanze Dena denied knowledge of Uhuru’s planned reshuffle.
