Propesa in another bet with senator Murkomen after SportPesa CEO lost his Range Rover to them in a bet

SportPesa CEO Ronald Karauri lost the biggest bet in Kenya’s history; he staked his Range Rover on Gor Mahia Vs Hull City game and lost the bet.

Popular Kalenjin comedians Propesa successfully challenged Karauri to the bet. The group staked a Toyota Probox, they were rooting for Hull City win while Karauri stood by his team K’Ogalo.

Gor Mahia lost to Hull City on penalty kicks in a thrilling game played at the Kasarani stadium in May 2018. The Kenyan champions drew 0-0 in normal time having dominated the game in first and second half.Gor Mahia will once again play English Premier League side Everton at the Goodison Park in the UK on November 6th. The two teams have faced each other before, they played in SportPesa Super Cup final in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania on July 13 2017, Everton won 2-1.

Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen has declined to honour a bet he entered with a friend on Gor Mahia Vs Everton game that was played on Tuesday night.

Everton thrashed Gor 4-0 to clinch the SportPesa cup at the Goodison Park stadium in the UK.

In a video that has gone viral, Murkomen is filmed with three other people and comedian Propesa making a bet.

The latter placed his bet on Everton.

Propesa had said that if Gor Mahia won, he would supply game kits and balls to five schools of Murkomen’s choice.

“I want us to have a bet with you Mheshimiwa, if Everton wins I want you to choose ten schools where you will take balls to develop young talents,” Propesa said.

However, after yesterday`s defeat, Murkomen backtracked his promise stating that he was coerced.

In a selfie recording, Murkomen jokingly claimed that his Professor had ambushed him in a hotel and had not given him time to think through.

“You ambushed me in a restaurant and you mobilised people and you purported to have agreed with me in some bet, I want to make it clear that I am talking to my lawyers,” he said.

He added that he was under duress and under the influence of some fish he had eaten.

“My friend if you are celebrating the win, I want to make clear that I have instructed my lawyers to look into the circumstances we entered the bet,” Murkomen said.

Kenyan Premier League champions Gor Mahia fell 4-0 to English Premier League side Everton in a friendly played at Goodison Park on Tuesday night.

This was the second time the two sides were meeting in one year; the first meeting was last year in Dar es Salaam where goals from Wayne Rooney and youngster Kieran Dowell were enough to hand the visitors a 2-1 win, with K’Ogalo’s consolation coming from Jacques Tuyisenge.

Despite holding well in the first 15 minutes, K’Ogalo allowed their defence to be breached in the 16th minute when Ademola Lookman put the Toffees ahead, completing a free-flowing move by a simple tap-in to beat keeper Boniface Oluoch from close range
