Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ‘super proud and super happy’ to have played for Manchester United.
The 37-year-old revealed he will be attached to United ‘forever’ after a spell at Old Trafford that saw him score 29 goals in 53 appearances.
And never short of confidence in his own ability, Ibrahimovic has told Premier League defences to be grateful he wasn’t plying his trade in England a decade ago, as his record in front of goal would have been even more impressive.
Ibrahimovic’s goals helped United win the League Cup and the Europa League in 2016/17 but a serious knee injury in April ended his campaign early and although he was back in action in November 2017, he couldn’t regain the form of the previous season and left to join LA Galaxy on a free transfer, becoming a big hit in Major League Soccer.
