Police have gunned down six thugs suspected to have  kidnapped a motorbike rider & a female client whom they repeatedly raped.

Police say 3 pistols recovered. Unconfirmed sources indicate the gang members were averagely 17yrs

They then escaped towards Dandora with the stolen motorbike. Nairobi police boss Joseph Ole Tito said the stolen motorcycle had a tracking devise and after the owner had informed the police of the incident, they tracked the gang up to Kifarage where they were gunned down.

Tito said the woman was rushed to a nearby hospital where she was admitted. “The suspects have been identified by some of the victims that they had earlier on attacked and robbed. They are all young men,” said Tito.

 

Police said the two were attacked by a gang of men armed with pistols.

“They robbed them at gunpoint, of properties that included the motorcycle registration KMEL 650 F, mobile phones, a handbag and cash,” the report stated.

“After the robbery, they blindfolded the rider and gang-raped the woman before escaping.”

Following a report of the incident at the station, police traced the motorcycle to Gitwamba in Dandora using a gadget that had been fitted on it. They encountered the suspected gangsters and a shootout ensued.

“The motorcycle and fallen gangsters have been positively identified by one of the victims,” the report stated.

It said that police found three home-made pistols with rounds of ammunition and all the items that were stolen from the boda boda rider and the passenger.

The woman was taken to MSF Hospital.

Few weeks ago two gangsters  identified as Ocampo and Denno by Hesy wa Dandora, a city crime buster were shot dead in what police described as some of the notorious criminals.
According to the police , the two had been terrorizing residents of Dandora for a while now . A pistol and a combat gear resembling police uniform were recovered after the gun down in Dandora , Nairobi , Friday September 14 in the evening .The youth had earlier been warned against wearing the trendy combat wears without an official document from the office of the Inspector General Joseph Boinnet, saying some pose as police officers in order to commit crimes.
Several cases have been reported linking criminals to the combat wears . They wear the combat outfit , act as police officers and rob residents .
