As national exams continue, President @UKenyatta insists that cheating will not be tolerated. The President says children have different strengths, talents and skills which should be nurtured to give them a better future. This was shared as a note of the week through the State House Kenya twitter account.
President Kenyatta is on record saying that there is no need to pressure any student who has passed or sat for the KCSE examination. The students should be allowed to perform according to their ability and skills and as God has helped them.
He also said that those who will not make it to the university will be helped so that they may be enrolled in technical colleges.
“Mtoto ambaye amepita au amefanya mtihani wa form four hakuna haja ya kumuekea pressure wacha afanye kulingana na uwezo wake nguvu zake na vile mungu alivyomsaidia. Wale wa kuenda university wataenda..na wale ambao hawataeza kufika university tutawasaidia waingie kwa technical college” he said
That is the best way to help our children but not helping them to steal in exams.
That is okay and we agree. But his government ministers and other officials busy stealing and cheating the public of thier revenue. What future when it has been stolen.Kill corruption,Fire people …period

In a different speech, he also addressed the issue of cheating and gave a warning to parents.
“Let us allow our children to develop, let us not encourage them to take shortcuts to get degrees that end up being meaningless because the child was not properly prepared and all that you have done is to buy exams,” said President Kenyatta.
