PR Stunt maybe? Julie Gichuru and Richard Quest Make Up

CNN Journalist Richard Quest and Kenya’s media personality, Julie Gichuru seem to have made up after a Twitter exchange that where Julie tweeted something quoting Quest.

The American journalist however, came out to say that he never at any one point said anything like that even though he agreed with the ‘sentiments.’

Julie has since apologized for misquoting the CNN journalist but KOT are not the most forgiving.

The two apparently bumped into each other at the Nairobi National Park.

“Lovely to bump into you…” said Julie Gichuru in a tweet to Richard Quest.

Quest and Kenya’s Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Najib Balala were at the Nairobi National Park this morning where the CS Balala hosted the CNN journalist for a bush breakfast.

Kenyan on Twitter have not bought the ‘we bumped into each other story’ saying that it all looked rehearsed.

Julie Gichuru has since been trolled by Netizens for spreading false information. Richard Quest on the other had has been in the country in preparation for the historic Kenya Airways inaugural direct Kenya to US flight that will take off tomorrow, 28th October.

This new dawn will mark the beginning of the daily direct flights between Kenya and the United States that is set to put Kenya on the map and make it a hub for East Africa. The ‘Quest Means Business’ will go live from Kenya tomorrow as Richard Quest and other dignitaries led by President Kenyatta will fly direct to the US for the first time in history.
