Eric Omondi celebrated the winning of the award together with his fans on road, the celebrations were hyped by boda boda riders and the Kenyan comedian was carrying his trophy while fans cheered.
This award seems to have come a long way; Eric Omondi shared on his caption that the previous years in which he was nominated, he never got to be first but finally he made it.
Kenyan Comedian Eric Omondi was on Sunday voted as the best African Comedian in the Africa Entertainment Awards held in the USA.
Eric Omondi saw off competition from another Kenyan comedian Chipukeezy. He also saw off competition from African heavyweights like Nigeria’s Basketmouth and Uganda’s Patrick Salvador.
It was a night to remember for Eric Omondi who also hosted the awards gala alongside Chipukeezy.
