Gatundu South MP Moses Kuria says he will offer the job of Chief Executive Officer of the Punguza Mzigo initiative to the self-declared leader of official opposition in Kenya Dr. Ekuru Aukot.
'Punguza Mzigo' initiative is still on. It was my idea…but Ekuru Aukot is jobless so I have let him run with it for now – Moses Kuria. #AMLiveNTV @debarlinea pic.twitter.com/LTPLLXcDK6

Speaking today on NTV’s popular morning show AM Live, Mr. Kuria who was making his debut appearance on the show said as the founder of Punguza Mzigo initiative, he will be happy to offer the job to Dr. Aukot who seems so much interested in pushing the agenda.
This job offers comes as a mockery to Ekuru Aukot who is also pushing so hard for the constitutional reform with his Third way Alliance Party tagged as “Punguza Mizigo,”

The Thirdway Alliance party has proposed Constitution amendments that could see taxpayers spend less than KSh 5 billion on salaries for elected leaders. The party proposes to maintain the Senate as an upper house with veto powers with 47 members and reduce number of MPs to 100.
Thirdway expressed need to maintain the 1,450 wards as units of development in the counties. Aukot said the proposals were based on feedback and collection of opinions from Kenyans in Nairobi, Nakuru, Isiolo, Samburu and Kiambu counties.
“I am the founder of Punguza Mzigo initiative that has been taken over by Dr. Aukot.” said the legislator. “This is still my initiative and I think I should give Ekuru a role to play”, he added,
Asked which role he would offer him, the outspoken legislator said “I will offer him the job of the CEO or even that of the Vice Chairman so that he can share his ideas”.
the question we should be asking is this: whether its "Punguza Mzigo Apunda Amechoka" (of Moses Kuria) or #PunguzaMizigo of @Thirdwaykenya, is it beneficial to Kenyans. Let's stop cheap talk and focus on the bigger picture. Have a good day https://t.co/FUWfqOMaXc
