Family offers Millions in reward to missing Tanzanian billionaire

The family of Abducted Tanzanian tycoon Mohammed Dewji’s has announced a Tsh1 billion (Sh44 million) reward for anyone with information on his whereabouts.

Family spokesman Azim Dewji appealed for help to find Dewji, 43. He spoke during a press conference at MeTL Group company offices, Golden Jubilee Towers. Dewji’s father Gullam Dewji was present.

Africa’s youngest billionaire was abducted last week on Thursday at Collesium Hotel in the Oyester Bay suburbs. According to Forbes, Dewji has an estimated net worth of $1.5 billion.

“We are grateful for the efforts being made by groups and individuals to help find our son. We are announcing a reward of Sh1 billion to anyone who will tell us his whereabouts,” Tanzania newspaper The Citizen reported.

Police are still investigating the motive for the abduction.
