As recorded by the star, He said the government disbursed Sh25 million on Thursday to cater for the national team’s allowances.
The DP made the announcement on Friday when he visited the team in camp at Safaricom Stadium Kasarani, where the match will be played. He said plans are underway to buy a bus for the national team.
“I visited Harambee Stars’ training camp at Kasarani Stadium to show solidarity. I delivered a goodwill message from government and Kenyans ahead of the crunch Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Ethiopia. The boys are in high spirits and raring to go,” the DP said on Twitter.
At the same time, Nairobi governor Mike Sonko has also pledged Sh3 million to the team if it wins the clash.

@WilliamsRuto butt I’m ambivalent about this… I must remind the DP that with we don’t need philantopists to make our dying economy better… we need a leadership trained on strategies that encompass interests of every ‘common mwananchi’.

This is very Funny, Harambee Could not afford tickets to Ethiopia, and now Ruto is offering 50m if the win… I think hiyo 50M belonged to the harambee in the 1st place but lazima D.p atengeneze jina

That money is our taxes anyway.. he should give them upfront. it may be the same promise like the 5 stadiums. Next he will tell them instead of sh50 million, he will keep it and give them sh100 million if they win African cup. We know how Jubilee works. We have been here before
