Authorities confirms an Action against the Owner of the killer Bus

On Wednesday morning a Kisumu bound Western Express Home Boyz bus killed 50 people in a grisly accident.

Inspector General of Police Joseph Boinnet said owner of the bus and the sacco will face an action after completion of investigations into the accident.

Reports indicates that the bus was overloaded and speeding when the accident occurred on the Kisumu-Muhoroni highway, leaving 50 dead and other seven injured.

According to police, the bus, which was heading to Kisumu from Nairobi, hit a guard rail before rolling several times  down the valley.

The bus also had passengers travelling to Kakamega on board.

Kericho County Police Commander James Mogera said the deceased include 31 men, 12 women and seven children.

At least seven survivors were rushed to Fort Ternan dispensary and Muhoroni Sub County Hospital.
