Here are others Prominent leaders who have mourned the passing of Mr.Kamaru.
Saddened that Joseph Kamaru has passed on. He was one of Kenya’s greatest musical icons & also an ambassador of Kikuyu culture. I fondly remember listening to some of his greatest hits like-caria ûngî, nuu ûcio & ke ngwîtîkîrie-as a young girl. He will be dearly missed #RIPKamaru

When I first met Kamaru, he wanted me to insure the fingers that played the guitar. That’s how serious he was about his music and its power to change lives. A star can never be dimmed. May your music and values shine brighter. A legend forever. #RIPKamaru pic.twitter.com/FJBG2i6D1F
