Confusion as Kenyan writer is mistaken for suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder

Kenyan writer and journalist Brian Kasaine, has come out to clarify that he is not the suspect in Monica Kimani’s murder. Although his image is not the one used on TV, Brian complained that people are dragging him into a matter that does not involve him.

People on twitter have advised him to change his twitter handle in the meantime to avoid the  confusion.

One Kenyan admitted that it is the ongoing case that led him to  the writers twitter handle. Maybe this is the same that  happened to other twitter users. A sign of curiosity in knowing the details of the third suspect who was arrested  in connection to Monica Kimani’s murder case. The man appeared in court yesterday with his face covered throughout the court session that is said to have lasted for about an hour. A while after the court case, Kenyans began raising the question of why his identity was not revealed.

Another man who seems to be a close friend to writer Brian Kasaine also spoke to clarify that the writer is not the man in question.

In a humorous way, Brian who is a writer and journalist stated “I have guns,I don’t refute.But they are in my stories though, and the characters I create shoot them. I’m not the one in police custody,but congratulations, you found a creative writer, journalist with @KenyaBuzz, your no.1 destination for events, lifestyle and movie content. He is known for one of his published book titled around the campfire an he probably has more. KenyaBuzz  also reacted to this confusion saying that,  “We have a responsibility as the media to give our audiences the honest FULLY researched truth! His only GUN is his pen! ”
