Kenyans on twitter are suspicious about the fresh details given that sources indicated; Joseph Irungu (Jowie) may have shot himself in an apparent suicide attempt inside his girlfriend’s house. This comes days after his arrested as a suspect in relation to the murder of Monica Kimani. The late Monica Kimani, who was about to celebrate her 29th birthday, was laid to rest on Friday at the family farm in Gilgil, Nakuru County.
A tweet by Citizen Tv, revealed that ; police suspected that Joseph Irungu had shot himself as a suicide attempt. This tweet triggered a heated conversation and concerns were raised on how this could be possible.

“If he shot himself, he had no intention of dying…” What are the chances of dying from a shoulder gun shot wound?…
Attempted suicide nimekataa. Anyone that has watched a single action movie knows the shoulder is one of the safest parts someone can be shot. If he shot himself he had no intention of dying.

Some Kenyans have began to feel that the suicidal narrative is being pushed forward and suspecting that what could come next is the news of Joseph Irungu ‘hanging himself in jail’.
Lmaooo!!! Ati attempted suicide??? I see a narrative is being pushed forward. The “he is suicidal” narrative. I won’t be surprised if Jowie “hangs himself” in a jail cell the we be told he was suicidal

The ‘suicide attempt narrative’ has been rubbished by Kenyans on the argument that Joseph Irungu who is said to have experience in using guns, could have shot himself in the mouth if indeed it was a suicide attempt.
Attempted suicide kwa shoulder? Juu alijua kichwa yake imejaa uji hawezi pitisha copper hapo akufe. Nice.

Shooting his armpit in attempted suicide? Tell that to the birds!

Common! If he wanted to commit suicide he could put the gun in his mouth and blown his brain. Hatutaki kubebwa ujinga

Even with these questions and debate that remain unanswered, the investigation is still ongoing and reports indicate that it has been extended to South Sudan where Monica Kimani is said to have had a business.
