Kenyans have today applauded Ezekiel Mutua for standing firm and not feeling ashamed to defend his reasoning and decisions. This comes days after the debate on homosexuality which was triggered by the ban of Rafiki Film which according to the Kenya Films and Classification Board had gay content. Following the debate, Ecnimist David Ndii clashed with Ezekiel Mutua since they had different opinions.
David Ndii had responded to a tweet by Mutua saying that religion should have no influence on his job.
“1. Morality is not synonymous with christianity. 2. Kenya is a secular state and your religion should have no influence on your job. 3. You continue to demonstrate that education was wasted on you.”
Kenyans however jumped to Mutua’s defence saying that he is indeed a man of principles.
Man of principles.Dr. Ezekiel Mutua is a truly African hero. Say no to what does not belong to Africans neither degreed by the Mighty. No to gayism and lesbianism in Africa. https://t.co/VYrIlGLke1

Ezekiel Mutua, thanks for not getting ashamed of The Gospel of Christ. Fear not those who would kill the flesh/assasinate character but Him who can destroy both the flesh and the soul in eternal fire ☺

Mutua had earlier urged Kenyans to be effective so that the social space does not end up to be a domain of bad guys “We must refuse to let the social media space become the domain of the bad guys. Those of us who cherish morality and decency must be as effective and strategic in this space as the bad guys if not more.” reads tweet
Educate him, we are a product of male and female not male and male or female and female. Ugandans are with you Dr. Ezekiel Mutua. May the Lord richly bless you, our generation is so blessed to have you.

If what you believe in cannot be incorporated in your daily routine, then no need of that believe! Ezekiel Mutua belives in Christ and has chosen to incorporate that in his career! Let him prosper!
